This is me - In a nutshell
Hi, my name is Thomas Tolenaar and I’m a 19 year old User Experience Design student, UXD for short. My passion is designing apps, websites, documents and more. I love turning complex problems into simple, enjoyable user experiences that make people’s lives a bit easier. I was born in Germany and lived there for almost 13 years. Since December 2018, I’ve lived in the Netherlands. After I graduated High school (VWO) I started studying. In my free time I love traveling the world and meeting different cultures. Organizing events and meeting friends is also something I enjoy doing.

Vit for Life
Research

Vit for Life is an influencer game by Game Tailors that helps kids in elementary school spot fake news. The concept was strong, but it needed testing and a refresh, and that’s what I worked on.
Space for Learning Community

The Learning Community (LC) for Sustainable Healthcare in Utrecht needed a space to raise awareness about their work. So, we designed a hybrid pop-up experience, with amazing report.

Albert Heijn is a grocery store chain in the Netherlands. The location I did this project at wanted to recruit more people, so I designed plenty of posters for them.
